I had a fabulous experience with Donovan Air, Electric & Plumbing. Sadly, I needed a new AC. Steve was fantastic going over the options and what would be best for my space, while being considerate of budget concerns. I then had the pleasure of having Zach and Nate install the new AC system. Both were very professional and demonstrated their knowledge by being very thorough with the installation. Zach also took the time to go over the new unit and encouraged me to ask any questions I may have. He provided answers to all of my questions. All three even put up with my little dog, who likes to bark at strangers. I think my wife and I were more annoyed with the barking than they were. Anyway, I have nothing but good things to say about Donovan Air, Electric & Plumbing. All three employees were great, price was good, and installation was done in a very timely manner. Thank you, Steve, Zach, and Nate! You represent your company with quality and professionalism, I greatly appreciate that.

Service Technician Alex was outstanding! He really knew all about our Carrier Infinity System. After inspection provided a detailed electronic report of our system, delivered our new filters, performed maintenance service and we went with his recommendations. We love Donovan.

Jeffrey and his helper from Donovan did a fantastic and professional job with the electrical repairs we needed in our home. It was a pleasure to work with him and this company. The price was reasonable and fair and they were trustworthy in terms of responses and timeliness. We are pleased to have an electrician we can trust as it has been a struggle for us to find a reliable, affordable, and available electrician. I'm glad the struggle is behind us. William, Nicholas and the entire team were outstanding. They showed up on time, explained what they were going to do, asked whether we had any specific requirements, got to work, finished everything smoothly, gave us a brief overview of the installed system, helped to set up the new smart thermostats AND were incredibly helpful with moving our belongings out of the way and back into their place. You can’t ask for more. Donovan has lived up to and exceeded expectations once again. It is because of jobs like today and the amazing service throughout the year that we have the AC units in multiple properties under Donovan’s care.

Hands down the best in the business! We are extremely thankful for Donovan’s building consultant, Stephen Keiler! He fixes a problem that our builder and two different AC companies couldn’t figure out (new construction). Wish we had called Sooner. Very fast, friendly, extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The team was so well organized when inspecting and replacing my ac/heating unit recently. I had used them last year to clean duct work and was impressed then with the care they took and the professional manner in which they worked. This year from the minute I made the phone call to when they pulled out of my driveway, the entire process was carried out with knowledgeable personnel in a timely manner. I have operated my own business for many years and appreciate good customer service when I see it. Good products, good pricing too. They also offer helpful financing arrangements so that payments can be delayed. An exceptional outfit overall.

We have been using Donovan for several years now. I highly recommend them! They keep track of our scheduled A/C maintenance so I don't have to. They reach out several weeks in advance to schedule. When the technician is on the way, I get a text from them, along with a picture of the technician (for safety). Greg handled our service today and was extremely thorough to ensure we don't encounter unnecessary issues down the road. We are very pleased with their service!

We had our entire AC unit replaced; inside, outside, and ductwork. The unit we had was not doing the job, and the ductwork was as old as the house (almost 25 years). We knew last summer we'd need a full unit replacement. I contacted a local big box hardware store to contract the job, and to my surprise (and relief), I got a return call back from Donavan. From the very first call til they walked out the door, our experience was amazing. They created a plan and built a uint specic to our needs. The entire team was professional and very friendly even when I followed along and was asking a bunch of questions. We very much recommend Donavan to do your full AC install. We also received a nice little gift a few days after the job was complete.

My technician Raymond was awesome! He was so patient as I have several contractors at my house at the very same time. He gave me an estimate on the spot and was able to do the work straight away. He needed to install 2 nests which he only had 1 in his truck so they brought 2 more to him. He also looked at the entire HVAC system and replaced the filters. I am so glad to have the work done and also got a maintenance contract! Since the offer so many services, I had forgotten to ask about a water softener but they are coming back out on Monday to give me an estimate - also love working with a family owned company!

Seth came out on a Saturday and installed a new HVAC system for me. I just closed on my condo and was surprised to find that the HVAC was in failure. Donovan expedited a diagnostic repair visit and then followed up with the install for the following weekend! Seth was professional, friendly efficient and quick! Ty Donovan. Highly recommend them! Will use going forward for yearly maintenance!

My whole experience with Donovan was exceptional. Aaron squeezed a consultation in same day as I submitted a request online. He took the time to understand what I was looking for in a new system and my budget and then explained everything and answered all my questions. William and Tyler were excellent technicians. The job was done quickly and cleanly. William even walked me through the setup of my new WiFi thermostat. Thanks to the team for making this an easy and stress-free purchase/experience. I did not get that experience from two other companies I called for quotes. It made choosing a vendor easy!

Best experience with an electrical company ever. Have had 4 different techs come out for various needs and they have all been the nicest/most professional group. Did some outlet installs other electricians said weren't possible, fast, fun to work with. Highly recommend!!

We have been using Donovan since 2014 for all our hvac needs, and they have been very responsive and helpful. We recently had a minor bathroom exhaust vent issue come up on the home inspection report for a buyer, and Rich contacted me within a few hours to tell me he had a tech who would be able to diagnose and repair the issue the following business day for us. I really appreciated the prompt response and the care Brian took when assessing the issue and repairing it. He went above and beyond and just looked around to ensure he didn't see anything else obvious that would need to be addressed. We are passing Donovan's info to the buyers as we highly recommend them regularly.

Update to review below: new AC was installed along with new thermostat. It was a long day due to some unforeseen circ*mstances. However they were early, respectful of my property, respectful of the fact that I work from home, talked me through what issues they ran into and discussed solutions and cleaned up afterwards and made sure I was happy with how things were being left. I could not be more pleased with everyone I have come in contact with at Donovan!I setup an appointment with Donovan with the intent of having them install a new thermostat. Terry was able to connect the thermostat so it does not require batteries. He was professional, honest, and respectful. I am very happy I called on Donovan and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

We recently had electrical wiring completed for a pool heater and a car charging station. Donovan Air, Electric, and Plumbing responded quickly to our inquiry and gave us the best quote. Cheyenne spent extra time explaining the process and reviewing different options with us. She was involved and very helpful throughout the process! James and Jesse did very high quality work in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the service and will certainly use them again!

We have had a lot of issues with our A/C system and tried several companies. At last we found Donovan Air and stayed with them for the last year. We have got subscription service with them, which helped us to fix numerous existing problems swiftly and professionally. We are happy with their quality and service and hope to continue further on.

The crew at Donovan did an excellent job in replacing my HVAC system and upgrading my controls. They arrived on time and went right to work. They explained what they did, answered all of my questions, and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. Great Job! We have been using Donovan Heating & Air Conditioning for 2 years now and they always respond right away and go above and beyond in offering A1 customer service in every possible way. Everyone is extremely professional and thorough and very patient and thorough with answering our many questions and attending to our many concerns. We just had them install a new HVAC unit and the team that came in was very respectful of our home and thorough from start up... to clean up and you could really feel how much they care. We would have given them more stars if we could! I cant recommend them enough!

After being ripped off by a St Augustine company, we kept sinking money into a 5 year old unit. Finally, we decided to start over with a quality unit. Donovan took great care of us. The Carrier is just fantastic. I have a feeling the power bill will be lower because the system doesn't have to run for hours just to go up or down by one degree (like the old unit from their competitor.) Great company, great products, great installation team!

Donovan service was great! I loved receiving a text notification about 15 minutes prior to their arrival. The employees arrived within the given timeframe window, addressed the issue, and were efficient by resolving it within 30 minutes.This is the second time that we have used them for our heating/ cooling systems and will continue to use the moving forward!

This business came to me. I lost electricity for seconds during the night. I didn't realize until this afternoon that I had neither heat nor air conditioning. The house felt very stuffy. I am a very new homeowner without knowledge. I called Donovan (which I had been intending to do when I got around to it. There's nothing like losing an essential service to get me around to it.). The company was very responsive, because I did not really expect anyone to come out in the late afternoon. I am so pleased with the service I received. My air-conditioning is restored (which is essential for my health), explanations were made, service to check out my doorbell which is not working was set for tomorrow. I feel like I'm in good hands with Donovan. Thank you very much.

James has helped us in the past and always does such an incredible job! He’s thorough, explains everything so it’s easy to understand, and always does great work. We haven’t seen him in about 5 years, because he did such an excellent job then. Definitely will always continue to use Donovan and have already referred them to others in the past

Technician came over for the annual maintenance. Everything were good. As an improvement/preventive measure. the technician advised to install an additional capacitor (start up kit) and the total cost for this was $389 (after membership discount). I paid and then I found exactly the same part on Amazon was only $84.95. So I was charged for EXTRA $300 for a 5-min installation.I was very disappointed. I trusted Donovan for years and this company treated me like a fool.I called the customer service and now I am waiting for a call back from a supervisor. Will see how it goes.BTW, the technician was great. Very nice and professional. Checked everything thoroughly. Thanks for this.

I have been using Donovan for over a year for all of my Electrical, Heating and Air and Plumbing needs. By far they are the best company I have ever dealt with. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and reasonably priced. You always know you are getting the very best service. Their technicians, dispatch and customer service is the VERY BEST! I recently enclosed my lanai and Donovan came out to access the A/C needs for the enclosure and recommended a cost effective option for the newly enclosed room. It has absolutely changed the temperature needs in the new room as well as the entire downstairs. We started using Donovan once they installed a new air conditioning system in our house last year. They are a great company to work with. Chris, the tech who made a few minor plumbing related repairs for us today, was professional, hospitable and very helpful. This company is top notch. We now use them for all our plumbing, electrical and air conditioning needs!

Excellent service. I have used Donovan since getting a new AC install years ago. They are always friendly, professional and timely! The appointment reminders and services provided are always organized. I highly recommend the local company!

My A/C was on its last leg. I called them on a Tuesday, a rep came out on Wednesday, and the installation was started and completed on Thursday. The agent was very personable and knowledgeable; there was no pressure or obligation to buy from them. The team for the installation showed up on time and was very professional. Their job was outstanding, and I will use them again. Exceptional Service I give them ten stars if I could.

Carlos did a great job fixing our garage disposal and toilet upstairs. Originally he wasn't supposed to make it out until tomorrow, but squeezed us in today. We are very thankful they worked us in And came out today. So glad Donovan added a plumbing and electrical division as we have been clients for years. Highly recommend Donovan for any service they offer as we have used them HVAC, Electrical, and now Plumbing.

Donovan installed two systems for me in one home. One was a replacement unit and the other was a total new install. This occurred in spring 2022. The install was awesome in terms of staff and quality of installation.this year was the annual clean up and inspection....bravo again. Donovan sent Stuart whom I did not know but he was thorough, courteous, clean, and appeared to be effective. Use this companyu!

Great service. Christian diagnosed the problem right away and did a great job inside and out. I live six months up north and will sleep easier knowing that someone will take care of the a/c in my absence. Donovan was the second company I called. Good thing too the other guys said I needed a new motor. Would have cost a mint. So Donovan got my business. Great to find a technician who knows what he’s doing

Donovan is fast efficient and very easy to work with. We had to replace our entire AC unit and they were great... fair pricing and have a payment plan if you don't want to pay in full.

The Donovan brothers hire well. Alex Lara did our 6-month maintenance (as preferred customers) and suggested we consider replacing one of our two heat-pump/air-handler units sooner rather than later. He was first-rate, personable and professional. Tyler Dean was the lead installer, assisted by a young man named Logan, and Brinton Long was here for a while too. They were all first-rate, but most of my communication about the installation was with Tyler. Like Alex, he was both personable and professional. These men represent the Donovan brothers well. In the field, they are the faces of the company.

Donovan's came out several weeks back to inspect our AC closet for some issues we were having throughout the house with humidity. Stephen Keller, on of their consultants, came out and spent time with us going over why we were having issues and recommendations of next steps for resolution. He was on time, thorough, transparent and very knowledgable. We want to say thank you for your time and professionalism. 5 stars.

Miguel replaced 3 Faucets and our hot water heater. He was efficient, professional and personable. We are happy with his work. He encountered an unexpected problem in one bathroom but was able to address it and proceed with the work.

The service person successfully fixed a blocked kitchen sink drain in less than an hour. Unfortunately the charge to do a simple clog fix on one line was $290. This was the price for a preferred customer with an annual maintenance plan. I needed to have the clog fixed but will need to rethink continuing this preferred customer relationship.

Eric did quality work! I appreciated how thorough he was. I never had this great of an experience with an air conditioner company before. He was professional, friendly and informative.He didn't rush and I felt he cared about his work.

James was great! He did an awesome job explaining the issue and what he’d done to fix it. He also let me know about the maintenance program that Donovan offers which seems like a great deal for my particular situation with an aging HVAC system. I have much more peace of mind knowing that my current issue is resolved and that I have a business to turn to when something comes up again.

They were great! They recently installed a unit in our garage. Came out quickly, very professional, and fair price. We moved into our house in December. They had recently installed HVAC units for the sellers, so we decided to give them a try. They had also been out to clean the ducts after extensive construction after we bought the house. Highly recommend this company.

Jesse, the electrician, was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. He worked quietly and efficiently for the 5 hours it took change out the CB Panel in my house, this was actually faster than promised. The reason for changing the panel was the fact that Cheyenne, another Donovan electrician upgrading outlets, noticed that our old panel, a Challenger, is notorious for catching fire! We were relieved to get rid of it after what we read online.

Steve Kieler the manager, James the electrician, William the installer were just great. They were so patient in explaining the process and answering questions, kind, friendly, punctual and did excellent work. I highly recommend them for any of these works.

Returned home from a trip and found a wet mess in garage. Called Donovan service and they responded great. HVAC guys determined it was actually a plumbing issue. Shortly after, Will. a plumber specialist came out. He diagnosed the problem, offered a solution and fixed it at a reasonable price This all happened in one day. Love Donovan’s service team!

Jesse and James were terrific! They put new lighting in our office in a timely manner, very polite, and professional. Going with Donovan was a great choice. 10/10 would recommend.

I have had the pleasure of Jake coming to service 2 separate Plumbing issues recently. He arrived timely , was courteous and Knowledgeable about my issues and informative about possible solutions. He was a good communicator and I appreciate his expert help.

Called at 8am and they had someone at my door by 10am. Alex was extremely knowledgeable, told me what repair was needed, told me how much it would cost upfront which I appreciated, and fixed the problem. He took care of everything and cleaned up the repair area even though I told him I would do it. Gave me some pointers on how to maintain the system as well. Thank you.

James installed a new Aprilaire dehumidifier for my home. His good manners are beyond compare and his work is outstanding. We had 6 companies give us quotes for work and Donovan was the only one that actually looked at both units and duct work, took measurements, and answered all questions. They were on time, courteous, we received a text message showing who would be in our house for the appointment. They took pictures of their work as they went, and cleaned up any mess (there really wasn't a lot). They protected my tile floors before performing any work and answered all questions, even after hours. I would highly recommend Donovan to anyone. We felt like we were their only priority for the day, and my very picky husband was very impressed with their work, and work ethic. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Preston, Joshua and Xavier and the staff at the office worked very professionally to replace our upstairs and downstairs AC units inside and outside with new ones in one day's time The technicians all the right tools to do the job correctly. And as a technician myself I would say they were very professional,courteous,and clean.

HVAC was well designed, plumbing work had a couple of issues that was quickly resolved, new electrical works great and was professionally done.

The team were professional, on time, polite, explained what they had to do, laid floor coverings, cleaned up properly, explained the system for as long as it took us to understand properly. Great job, great team. Hard to see how they could have done more. Thank you.

This is my first time using Donovan and the experience has been great from the first conversation on the phone, through the assessment, and determining the best path forward for my HVAC system. I would recommend this company anyone.

Donovan is still one of the better AC/Heating companies around. I like it when they give me all the PROS and CONS of doing certain maintenance so that I can make decisions on what fits me best. I have been using them since 1995 when I moved to Florida.

The tech, Irwin, was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing in clear terms that I could understand. When he found an issue with my system, he immediately consulted with me. I appreciate his time and the work he did. He did not rush through to the finish. He left the work area neat and in order. Nice job, Irwin. ?

I have been part of Donovan's yearly AC maintenance program for going on 2 years now and it is a great service! Twice a year the come perform overall maintenance and troubleshooting which in FL is a great thing to do so your not summer sweating over an unknown issue. Recently I have had a couple issues and they are always extremely timely with emergency calls which is especially appreciated as I have tenants in the residence. Thank you guys for all the help!

The preferred customer program is a good deal. It applies to all their services - HVAC, plumbing, electrical. The HVAC tech Devan was very thorough and efficient, explained and documented everything for the preventative maintenance. The plumbing tech Miguel went above and beyond - when my water heater broke, he spent time on the phone with the prior provider sorting out my warranty options...when that didn't work (not his fault, terrible response and options from the old company) Donovan had a new heater out and Miguel installed it the same afternoon. So, all positive experiences.

Brian Frendahl was outstanding. He really went above and beyond to help us. He inspected all our vent ductwork and identified the issue. We couldn't afford the the option, so he went out of his way to make things right and found us a affordable option. His customer service, workmanship, and dedication to the customer and Donovan is beyond all expectations. Thank you for helping us with the Air Scrubber, my Wife's asthma will be better soon.

HVAC started acting up Wednesday night. Called and actually spoke to an employee, not an answering service. First thing in morning service tech came out and serviced our system. Very professional, quick, courteous. Kept us informed along way. Can’t give them a high enough rating.

I needed an electrical update to handle a microwave. Technician explained the process to me so I understood what he was doing. He completed the work in a timely manner. He cleaned up after himself. This was the first time I have used Donovan's electrical service. It is good to have one company provide multiple services.

They arrived timely and installed a new unit. They cleaned the area and you would have never known anyone had done a huge install. They also did not attempt to sell a unit with more “bells and whistles “ and understood exactly what we needed.

I have used them for swimming pool timer box switch out, AC maintenance and for a new electrical panel upgrade and each person has been super friendly and professional. They show up in uniforms. No hidden fees. They text a photo of the tech before they arrive. On time. Very knowledgeable and experts in their fields. Highly recommend!

We had a list of things that needed attention including fixture repairs. Donovan scheduled promptly, let us know when to expect service (with a photo of the person coming), and Jesse Rilea was great. He was courteous, friendly, efficient, helpful, and very proficient. I would recommend this service and Jesse whole heartedly.

Donovan has been taking care of my parents HVAC systems formany years. When Mr. Donovan started his company he went door to door through Jacksonville Beach talking with residents and asking if he could he assist them in any way with their HVAC needs. This guy was going door to door to help people. To me that spells commitment . I trust these guys. Their techs are professional, courteous and knowable. Donovan replaced our unit that was nearly 20 years old. They pulled out the old system and replaced it with a new unit. They also cleaned our vents and ducts while they were here. James was the lead technician and the whole 4 person team was great. They were all very personable and professional throughout the 7 hour install. I highly recommend Donovan!

Donovan did an incredible job replacing our HVAC and then were incredibly prompt to help when we needed the units moved as part of our reno. Dependable and professional, they’ll be our first call for HVAC needs from now on.

I highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs. I was told by another company who serviced my old air unit that it was time to purchase a new HVAC unit. Called 3 people for quotes. Donavan representative was actually earlier to appointment and Brandon was very knowledgeable, offered a decent price on a Carrier unit, helped me to moved the unit to side of the house since back porch would be more peaceful. My other neighbors who used them also gave me stellar feedback. Crew of three came, they were very professional and did a quality job and respectful. Since I recently renovated our bathroom, I used their 0% 18 months option to give myself a breathing space. I am so glad that I have chosen Donovan. They will continue to provide maintenance for a year and that’s part of the service. Unit has ten year warranty and five year labor warranty. Thank you.I wanted to add that the other two company did not work because one gave 5K more than Donovan’s quote for the same system and sales person was arrogant and pushy and the other one did not offer Carrier. Donovan is simply a great company.

I had complex electrical work done. Cheyenne did the estimate and Parker did the work. They each took time to understand my needs/wishes. Both were excellent - very happy!

Samuel was great! After an initial quote from another local company, I called Donovan for a second opinion. Samuel took the time to go more in depth on the problem and fixed the issue on the spot. The first company told us we needed to replace the entire unit (quote of $15,000). Donovan saved us thousands and thousands of dollars. Will definitely be using Donovans from now on.

Needed A/C repaired. Called One Hour A/C , my current A/C company & soonest appointments was 6 days out. Called Donovan & they came out the next day & repaired. Ruslan Halamaha Samuel Grimes were AMAZING , friendly, & professional. Will only use Donovan going forward.

Alex Donovans representative was great. He performed maintenance service repaired any issues he found explained everything in detail why something needed to be replace the cost. Educated us on the system and warranties.

They did a great job years ago replacing my vents in teh attic. That made a tremendous difference in heating and cooling the home evenly. They also replaced my units about 10 years ago and keep them going strong with regular maintenance.

My AC stopped working on Sunday night at 10 PM. I asked for service via the website right then, and recieved a call back in five minutes. I had a confirmation in my mail box when I woke up Monday morning and two techs were here at 8AM. I needed a new fan motor, which arrived the same day and was installed by 3PM. This level of customer service is far beyond my expectations. I recommend Donovan whole heartedly.

Once again Donovan has performed excellently for us. Their tech. immediately sized up what was needed to be done and set about making the repairs. Not only did he make the repairs, but he created a means by which the break is not likely to happen again. You can't ask for more than that.

Great company! I love their reminders and photos of the technician coming. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything that was done.

On 1-11 we meet Stephen, and he was very professional and explained everything to us about the HVAC unit we wanted to extend or move. He did give us the information about the maintenance plan also.Later that day we meet Gavin, and he explained everything to us and we plan on having him come back today 1-12Today Gavin came back with ParkerAll the young men were very professional, they were very well spoken and polite. They explained that we didn't have all the parts need to complete the lighting up put, and they located the missing part and explained that they would be back tomorrow at 8am to complete the job. They cleaned up and they located the needed part for us to purchase . They made sure that I understood everything. You have very capable and personable employees. I also spoke with Regina and she was very professional and we will tell our neighbors about the excellent service we received from Donovan . I really could not believe that they were also so timely.

Travis was very polite, showed up on time. explained I didnt need vent cleaning, vents were dusty but not the duct work. first time using Donovan and I will use them again! very professional, courteous guy. appreciate that in a tech nowadays! no lie.

They demolished the old system and replaced everything, including all ductwork and redesigned the system, adding return air features, using state-of-the-art equipment. The project was performed by quality people, quality workmanship, with quality equipment. Ample resources were employed (4 trucks and skilled technicians) to complete the entire job in two days. During routine PCA maintenance, Samuel V. (Technician) discovered a potentially fatal problem with my Trane Model TAM7. Using an infared camera he noted an unusually high temperature coming from the Hard Start Assy. He r&r'd the kit, remaining until 7:00 pm when the job was completed. In addition, he discovered a few unrelated problems that he repaired on the spot. Once again, Donovan Air dispatched a qualified, very knowledgeable, and courteous professional to maintain the health of my A/C unit.

William and Dillon, Brendan (and crew) were very professional, friendly and helpful. The were very accommodating and respectful of my work from home environment. They do very good, quality work and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. They did have to return to put in a piece, but that was scheduled right away and the installation went very quickly.Donovan took care of my old unit under a maintenance contract helping it last for years. I am expecting the new one to do so as well.

Cheyenne and Parker were great! They put an outlet in above my fireplace by crawling through my very tight attic space! They also removed a light fixture and capped it off for me. They finished both projects very quickly, and were very tidy, sweeping up before they left and asking if there were any boxes they could take away with them. I always enjoy having Donovan come do work. Whether it's AC, electrical or plumbing, they're professional, friendly, and very helpful. Additionally, the quote for the work was exactly what the charged in the end, and it was far less than other electricians out there.

I have used Donovan for years and years. They installed my first Ac in my very first house, my second house and replaced duct work and 6-ish years ago in my current house and replaced old duct work too. They maintain both units inside and out every 6 months and send me reminders which is extremely helpful. Today my, they made a repair, and everything is working fine again. They are professional, on time and always friendly.

We had them out last year to do the fan installation and electrical work for a new Lanai. They did a great job. When I got the email they now did plumbing, I immediately called and had them out to replace a gas water heater, and several other item.'Like before, they were on time, and the work is definitely quality workmanship and materials.I would highly recommend them for electrical and plumbing.

Brandon Zaharie and his field team were great to work with! I wish I had everyone's name who labored long and hard days at our home, tearing out 40+ year old fiberglass ducting and cramped attic space to install a new system for our home. It wasn't just in the performance of their craft - it was the attitude, friendliness and ability to helpfully explain functions of todays' air-conditioning systems to us that made the transition from old to new that much more enjoyable. We will most definitely endorse Donovan Air-Condition to anyone looking for help!

Shameful billing experience. I was advised of dispatch service and price. However, I was Invoiced an additional $207 in order to cut ONE low-voltage wire and attach a wire nut - which took 15 minutes. Service tech did NOT advise of additional charge, and supervisor Tim refused to adjust excessive charge. I have disputed the credit card charge, and suggest anyone considering Donavan NOT to use this company. They are a complete rip-off. Call another HAVAC company, don't do business with Donavan.

Tyler the Technician was thorough and very knowledgeable. He was very informative and made sure to show me the before and after condition of all components that were thoroughly deep cleaned of my Trane minisplit units.

My mini split stopped and showed a code the evening before Thanksgiving. Great. I spent the evening and the next day trying to get an understanding of the code and researching the best HVAC companies in my area. I didn't really resolve anything. The next day, I spoke with my neighbor and they recommended Donovans to me. I called them about 2:00 and Dustin arrived about 4:00. I spoke with him about my research and watched him do his. He's a pro. He diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes and explained everything to me clearly and thoroughly. He also explained a lot about ductless systems and services that I could get from Donovans along with the repair. It's going to cost a few bucks but I'm satisfied that it will be back operating and functioning better with this service. If all of their technicians are as professional as Dustin, you can't go wrong.

I was charged 260$ for a tripped breaker. 110$ dispatch fee which was fair. But they also charged me 150$ for turning on the tripped breaker. I will never do business with Donovan Air again.

Excellent service. Hobart was very detailed, professional, personable and knowledgeable. After his inspection of the HVAC system, vents and ducts he recommended options that we expect will better fit our needs. The only concern was he needs better clean up equipment. I had to vacume again after he left. I saw the vacume, recommend you upgrade the equipment so he can do a stellar job of clean up much like everything else he did! :)

He knew exactly what he was doing and fixed the problem in 15 minutes, including troubleshooting. AC was up and running in about 1 hour of the call, which was amazing. Brtton is the best A/C service man we have ever had. He did rerouting of a/c for easier a cess indoors plus . This time he brought a helper. I have had horrible service until we started using Donovan’s . We are next considering using their electrical service. Hands down they have the best repairmen and customer service.

Roger was pleasant but could not restore power to either dock nor driveway yet I was charged $450 essentially for change out of one outlet.

Even though it was quite pricey, it HAD to be done. I trusted Donovan to do it and they came through, as they always do.

Jerry Weir was very pleasant. Early/ontime arrival and very cordial. We would prefer to have him as our regualr tech.

We had four other local AC companies out to our home when our AC unit kept freezing up. Three of the companies just suggested a new unit since ours is 9 years old. The other company couldn't diagnose the problem at all and wanted to charge $500 just to perform a leak search. Terry with Donovan Heat and Air came out to our home and he was able to diagnose the issue that day. Turns out our system just needed a new part. Donovan ordered and installed the part within 3 days and we had a cool home again! Thank you Donovan for a job WELL done!!

Mom and I went to Donovan Heat & Air for a 2-day installation of duct work. The Duct needed to be replaced, upgraded, and the old duct didn't cover as much ground as the new one did. Their installation team performed to expectation and beyond if needed. One such example is how much employees to send over for the work. We were expecting 4 guys to come and didn't expect 5 to come instead for day 1. For Day 2, we were expecting 2 guys to come and 4 came instead. This is called operating at peak efficient at the time of opportunity. Another great thing I can say about Donovan's employees is their capability to work while having less holidays off than in other areas. I was able to save in my time in the bank on having President's Day off for free and only called out from work on the other day. Grateful Donovan works on normal holiday schedule on President's Day.Special thanks to the team leaders Zach and James and their backups of Nathan, Jonathan, and Brady and also their parts runners Preston and Steve for delivering parts at the time of need. They're the second company that I know that have parts runners to delivery parts while using their own vehicles. I know of a 3rd company that does this, but uses Uber instead.

Quick and clean service. Diagnosed problem gave options, and was on time to replace air conditioner. Air conditioner had failed and they let us use window units while we waited 3 days for install of new unit. My power bill is often under $100 a month because they designed an excellent system with plenty of returns that I didn’t realize I needed because of that the system doesn’t work as hard as it might have and it will last longer and trust me I need it to last longer as I purchased a pricey system.Glad I went with Donovan they were the cheapest but you see their vehicles EVERYWHERE. I rarely don’t come across someone complaining about them I think they’re vehicles are out there installing new systems and doing the biannual maintenance because they are trustworthy company!

On a very busy day with high heat, Ryan showed up much earlier than I had hoped for. He quickly repaired my A/C system and showed great professionalism. he was also friendly and very helpful when he assisted me with setting up alerts on my Honeywell thermostat system. I was very satisfied with every aspect of this repair call.

The whole experience was 5 star. Super easy and efficient online appointment scheduling. Was impressed to get text notice of Michael's projected arrival, along with a photo of him. Michael was knowledgeable and efficient and clearly explained the status of our system, fixed the problem (needed Freon) and offered information about what might occur in the future. Our technician, Alex, familiarized himself with our entire system and then worked diligently to get it up and running. He continued to check with me throughout the day to be sure it was running and returned to tweak the repair when the problem wasn’t solved after the first visit. I just moved to Jacksonville and I am sold on Donovan as a company because of Alex’s representation. I have purchased their protection plan and am relieved to have found them so soon after moving here.

We got an estimate from this company because their reviews were very high. I wasn't impressed with the estimators knowledge of my project and the estimate came in at almost 4x the amount I just paid to get it done by another company who I saw doing work on a new build in my neighborhood. I would recommend a supervisor look at what went wrong with this estimate as I got third estimate as well which was half of Donovan's. Feels like gouging. Giving 3 stars instead of one because the timeliness of the estimate and their receptionist was good, don't want to effect their reviews too much with a one star , so 3 is neutral. But I hope someone pays attention because it seems by reviews to not be the norm for them.

AC replacement-removed old unit and installed new unit with wind tolerance upgrade. Spent time after installation to explain system and care of new unit. Also informed us of air duct system though the home in need of replacement at some point, but in the meantime do not have the duct work cleaned as will cause more damage then help. No pressure to replace at this time and good to know. Service was excellent.

Our experience was great! We googled companies for our ac and they were the first choice. They contacted us within 30 mins to let us know someone would be out. They were very professional and helpful! We went from 86 degrees in our home with no air to it being fresh. Our technician was very kind and explained every step to us. I highly recommend, it wasn’t about the money to them try truly cared that we needed our ac working in this florida heat and delivered the best service yet. We signed up for their package knowing they’d take care of us when we need it. Glad we didn’t go anywhere else because other companies charge an emergency fee.

Fantastic job! Steve Keiler installed the venting, mounting brackets, chimney and crown molding for a Zline range hood. This was a replacement range hood so there was all the fun that a remodel provides including an existing vent that was more of a hindrance than a convenience. I was nervous about the stainless steel and the backsplash tile drilling for weeks prior to the install. Steve was absolutely kind, professional, calm and capable. He discussed the instructions with me and provided his insight. His analysis of what needed to be done was impressive and he went about the work knowing it would be completed this day having never seen the instructions prior to stepping up to the job. Wow! It looks great!

Shower head leaking they installed newparts and it’s working properly. All this at the cost of $600. Very expensive for a $60. Part.Technician called for help to be told he should of gotten a complete kit, he didn’t so he had to buy additional part at Lowes for maybe $30. I got charged $80.Donovan’s might be good at Airconditioner repairs but not plumbing.Never use them again. Very expensive repair for a leaking shower valve needing only a filter.

Carlos made a couple of visits due to an out of stock tub mixing valve. Professional, timely, took his time explaining what the problem was, why it could lead to a bigger problem and suggested a repair. The valve cartridge had to be back ordered and when it arrived, Carlos ensured the part was installed correctly and that it accomplished what it was supposed to. I don't care for paying huge plumber bills, but the work is professionally completed and warrantied. It's peace of mind on our part.

Called this morning to get help as my upstairs AC condensate drain was found broken INSIDE my wall where it makes the exit outside. Condensate draining inside a wall is a major mold risk. David was on time, very professional and laid back. He made the entire experience feel very non-invasive and “like we were in good hands”. He came in, got the job done and even replaced one of the parts on the spot so no extra appointment was needed! Would recommend this company to anyone in the area. They are just good, honest people.

They could not put the dehumidifier thermostat on the wall straight. It was obvious they stained the carpet because the grease stains were just outside their canvas. Also the rest of the carpet was clean. When I pointed out the stain, he said, Did we do that? He took a pic and reported stains but they have never sent anyone out to clean the carpet (even though I have called the office about this.) The team started out polite, but then they try to work through lunch, and got grumpy by 2 in the afternoon. By then they were rolling his eyes at each other when I asked questions. At the very end of the work, they were polite again. Overall I am not knowledgeable about AC installation, so I don't know if overall they did an acceptable job. I do know that generally how people do the small things (like put a thermastat on the wall crooked) is likely how they did the big things. I was very disappointed.

I had a Carrier Comfort 15 installed. I was surprised as I ordered it on Friday and it was scheduled for install on the following Monday. Nicholas arrived at 8PM and commenced work with his assistant Preston. They worked diligently removing the old system and installing the new system All work was completed by 3PM, and I was given a lesson on using the programmable thermostat. All of the old system was removed and they were very thorough about cleanup. Very pleased with all work. Thank You.

Called Donovan for help when my rental condo AC failed. They checked unit, found it rusted beyond repair (oceanfront). Alex guided my choice for the new unit and David arrived with his crew as promised. Had unit installed the next day before checkin for scheduled guests. He had another co worker with him and they were quick, friendly, had the part on hand and gave us an estimate on additional electrical wiring we are considering. My air conditioner went out yesterday and I called Donovan heating and air right away to come out and fix my AC, as my house was getting very hot quickly in July. They said they could not come out day of, but could come the next morning and that someone would reach out with a specific time. So we slept through the night in the hot house and woke up anxious to get a technician out. I didn’t hear from anyone, so I called Donovan to find out what time and to confirm. The receptionist was not friendly at all and told me very non chalantly that they hope to get to my house over the weekend, but not sure and definitely not today. I said I wished the lady the day before told me that info so I could call another company to come out instead. She did not seem to care or want to help at all. Very unprofessional. Does not keep their word or call to inform you that there will be a delay. Instead they dismissed me and had no regard for the initial appointment. Very unhappy with this company.

I have never had a bad experience with Donovan in the 7 years I’ve been with them. It seems each time, they improve over the previous call. To be their customer is such a comfort in this Florida heat.

When you increase your maintenance program cost it would be a good idea to let your customers know. It went from 184.00 to 219.00 I left the last company because they continued increasing the maintenance fee and continu ed trying to sell me items I did not want. I asked for a quote on replacing a cartridge on my tub and shower it is a American standard I could not get a quote without someone making a service call. How hard can it be to give a basic quote. Trying to let you get some of my business. Thanks anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text from technician, Stephen Coletta, Sunday morning that he was on his way to repair my A/C unit. It was non-functional after I returned from a week-long trip in the wee hours. I had initially been told I would not receive service until Monday. He was able to quickly and pleasantly restore the system with explanations of the cause of the malfunction.

Donovan's has saved our company tens of thousands of dollars since we switched to them 2 years ago. We used to have about 25 technician calls a year for our 15 units - now we may have 3-4 a year, and they are generally very simple and inexpensive (remember, I have 15 RTUs to keep up and running, not just one like most people, so only 4 service calls a year is incredible for 15 units, especially considering several are over 10 years old). They are fantastic at identifying potential issues while doing maintenance and getting those issues repaired before the units go down.Even better, they have helped reduce our electric bill by rewiring the AC units to use lower demand when they come on.Ryan is absolutely brilliant. Rich is an incredible researcher and problem-solver.I cannot say enough good things about Donovan's. They make my property management job easy. If you're considering using them, just make the call. You will be so glad you did.

The guys installed a ceiling fan on my lanai and they did a great job. I don’t think it was easy, as they had to install wire molding from the outlet to the fan. They were very professional and conscientious about their work. They also replaced some outlets for me. They were very polite, friendly, and helpful. Great job and great attitude. Today's service was to get a quote on replacing all the plugs (3) and light and fan (8) switches in the master bathroom. I purchased the material because I was going to do it myself. The quote was a bit more than expected but the Service Tech, Jeff, said he could do it immediately. Accepted the quote and within an hour the job was finished.

Eric did a great job of explaining what needed to be done. He was extremely thorough in documenting what had been done and what future services I was entitled too. Been using Donovan for as long as I have been in Jax and never disappointed.

We have used Donovan for about 4 years now, ever since we moved to Florida. One of their employees was servicing a heat pump HVAC system and I listened while he was talking with the homeowner, our next door neighbor. He seemed so professional that I asked the neighbor afterward what he thought, which was positive. So when our HVAC system needed routine maintenance, I called Donovan.When our system was 11 years old, it was beginning to become inefficient and less reliable, so I asked Donovan about a replacement. The guy I spoke with at their office gave me advice on what he believed would be the best combination of reliability and cost. He did not recommend the most expensive one, though he could have. The new unit was installed when promised a year-and-half ago, and has worked well. We have had regular maintenance 2 x per year, and the Donovan employees have always appeared to be competent and were easy to work with.

They showed up on time, did not go over the estimate and made sure the job was done right.

Donovan replaced an old and failing a/c system. Arrived on time with the system that I had chosen, kept us updated on the progress of the work, took great care to keep our home clean by using drop cloths to cover the carpet, made sure my dogs did not escape when the installers were coming in and out of the house. There was one unexpected problem when a water pipe was cracked while digging outside. We were informed immediately, they turned off the water to the house and also arranged for repair of the cracked pipe and even used the plumbing company that we suggested. The a/c was installed before the plumbers arrived but the installation crew did not leave until they knew that our water was back on and we were happy. Another remarkable experience with this company. Donovan also does maintenance twice a year on both of our a/c units. I am a satisfied customer.

UPDATE: 5/27/2022 ANOTHER 5 STARSWe have been on the preferred maintenance program at Donovan (3+ years now). On the phone and in person always a great experience. They ALWAYS contact us when it is time for our next maintenance and have kept our system in great shape. Last week we had to call for the first time for a service call, they came out, diagnosed the problem and replaced the part the same day (when it was 100 degrees out). Jamison L. was our service technician, he thoroughly went over the diagnosis and returned later that afternoon to replace the faulty part. Super impressed with Jamison, he is an asset to your company as well as every other team member we have been in contact with. It started with a semi-annual maintenance visit, however, the service technician (William Hughes) took the time to explain our multiple HVAC and dehumidifier systems to me as this is a new home for us, and I was not familiar with the equipment.I was interested in having Air Oasis UV/Ionizers installed in our HVAC units, and he was familiar with the product and had the equipment on his van...done. There were also a few repair/upgrades that were recommended as a result of the inspection, which would help keep our condensers operating optimally, and I was happy to accept as William had earned my trust at this point by taking the time to demonstrate he knew what he was doing and providing me with a service that was worth paying for. Travis was great very knowledgeable and very enjoyable to be around however the company charging $310 minimal was not reasonable at all for this job

Condenser fan motor had a short in the reversing wires where the insulation had worn away, resulting in a bad length of wire. Informed the technician of the issue, that I had bought new capacitors for both the fan motor and compressor, and that they tested as good. Told technician that the fan motor had a 'no start' issue, but would run if given a push, and that I believed the fault was caused by the shorted wires, as they are what connect the capacitor to the aux winding of the motor. I requested a new motor, told him it was a PSC 48 frame, and gave him the unit documentation.He knocked on my door 10 minutes later with a bill for $570 dollars, which did NOT include a new fan motor. Instead, it consisted of a $435 capacitor, and a repair consisting cutting the shorted wires and re-connecting them with standard, non-insulated wire nuts, sitting exposed on top of the unit and exposed to the elements.The capacitor he tried charging $435 for? It's available at Ace Hardware for $47, and is nothing more than a one-size-fits-all-style dual-run with several different MFD ratings. I know this because I saw it on the shelf two days ago when I was there buying the brand-new PROPER capacitors that were installed into the unit.I asked the tech (Kevin Bulan) why the capacitor was $430, and why he installed it in the first place, after being told that the ones in the unit were brand new, the proper MFD rating, and functional. His responses were Uh, uhhmm.. thats just how much we charge for them, and well its Turbo, it's... uh, better.I told him that I wasn't going to pay for that capacitor, that he needed to remove it, and he needed to reinstall the capacitors that were in the unit. After this was done, lo and behold, the unit still worked FINE- despite statements made to the contrary in an attempt to gouge me for an extra $400 in markup on a part that was both ridiculously overpriced AND wholly unnecessary... The unit started right up, and ran fine.This is NOT ok. Not only did he try to blatantly rip me off- I'm still out $230 for a service and repair consisting of two wire nuts that I not only could have done myself, but that I still HAVE to do redo myself, as having open, interior-rated wire nuts exposed to the elements and sitting on top of a fan that will blow moisture onto them constantly is NOT safe.I called for service for ONE reason- I wanted a new condenser fan. The installed one is a non-original part that was installed before I bought the house, and the damaged wiring is built into the motor itself. The motor is old, corroded, and slightly underpowered... Hence calling an HVAC company to have it REPLACED, instead of just patching the wiring to limp it along for another year or two... Instead, I'm out the cost of a new motor, but with nothing to show for it except a shoddy repair that I decided not to do in the first place, and that I *still* now have to redo in order to make it safe.

4.9 stars! Hmmmm I was a Prefered Customer with Donovan till just 5 mins ago. My a/c unit was supposed to be serviced in March for the summer season, but it didn't get done. When I called and asked why they had no answer except to put me on the appointment list. Well they are so backed up they will not service my system for 3 MONTHS!! I had a July appointment but the waiting started workng on me. Perfered Customer kept screaming in my head. Don't give this company your hard earned money for a maintenance program, they will not do your maintenance at your convience, they do it when they want to. They already have your money, why treat you with respect? I cancelled and will find an a/c company that treats me better.....and I won't give money up front to do it. Donovan had my business, but wouldn't do what they said they would, to keep it.

Terry is a very experienced technician. He fixed my air conditioning compressor by putting in a new capacitor. Then he worked on the air handling unit and corrected the wiring that had existed since it was new then he installed a tee in the PVC pipe to allow free access to add things like vinegar to your condensate line. By far the best price quote as they actually took into account how simple this job really was. Four other quotes were double theirs or even higher. I considered these other quotes ridiculous! Maybe the others just did’t really want small jobs at all. Jeff Malloy at Donovan’s was fast and professional. Came same day and in and out in about 40 min to convert an old oven range from hardwired 220V 50 A circuit to a wall plug for a 220V 50A 6ft range cord on a new oven range. Others wanted me to wait a week or two for their service. I.e.we would not have a working range or oven for that long. Highly recommend Jeff and Austin Adams who gave me the Donovan’s quote.

No heat. System failed on a night in low 30's and after new thermostat had been installed a month earlier. Terry Walker came on short notice, found that the 2-pole contactor in heat strips was dead and fixed problem. I found Terry to be polite and knowledgeable, diligently and thoroughly examining every aspect of what might have gone wrong. He did a great job and I hope he'll be the one to come back to do my scheduled maintenance job in February. PS this is second time I have used Donovan and I can highly recommend this company!

AC was having issues middle of summer in Florida. As a new homeowner was concerned, Donovan had installed the unit for the prior owners and came out next day. Allowed me to re sign up for the service plan on the unit and took care of issue quickly and professionally. I have been using Donovan for five years now for routine HVAC maintenance, one sizable repair to my old air handler, and most recently, installing a brand new outside unit and air handler.I am on their preferred customer program which I have found to be a good deal; for one annual fee (I paid $194 on last renewal), you get two service inspections and a discount on any new parts you may need as well as priority service/scheduling.When my old unit was dying, the technician inspected it and confirmed it was heading downhill fast, and he gave me a lot of good information and recommendations which helped me decide which new unit to get. I was given a choice of 3 systems, basically a good, better, best option, and while I had intended to go with the more expensive option/brand, some of the info he gave me led me to go with the more mid range option and I haven't been at all disappointed.I love the new unit and thermostat! The air handler is so quiet I almost cannot tell it's running. The only way I know is I will hear the thermostat click when it turns on if I am nearby. Otherwise, I just notice it is cooler or warmer in the house. My old one (a 2010 Lennox system) was much more noticeable when it ran.I went with a Carrier and had been leaning towards Trane, but the technician said that Trane's air handlers have a plastic case which is more prone to deterioration over time than the metal. Also, he said once you get above about a 16 SEER unit, they get more complex and parts/repairs get more expensive, plus he said I didn't need the higher SEER rating for a house of my size. All very solid advice from what I have found so far.The install team (James, David, and Travis) did excellent work - they were punctual, kept me apprised of the status of the project, and took care with preparation and cleanup. Their estimate of how long it would take was spot on; they arrived about 8:30 and had said it should be done by mid afternoon and it was completed by around 3:30 PM.I have used one other heat and air company in Jacksonville and Donovan is far superior. They are honest, the technicians have never tried to sell me stuff I don't want or need, work and advice have always been high quality, and their fees have always seemed reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I don’t have enough positive words to say about Samuel Vegkley, who came to my home for my bi-annual maintenance, and then a second time for a couple repairs/enhancements to my system. He was INCREDIBLY thorough and spent hours with me. It’s not often I’m left with feeling like I got a good deal; however, this time around I felt like I was almost undercharged for the services, time and attention he provided. I’ve never had a bad experience with Donovan’s and goodness knows I’ve had to request service more times than I want on my old AC. I have their maintenance plan and they come out twice a year for a full inspection and cleaning of all the whatchamahoozies. All of my service calls are free and I get a discount on services if needed. For having an older system, this has been sooo worth it. (I paid around $550/yr for 2 AC systems). With Donovan’s you are NOT going to be ripped off. They are honest, answer your calls immediately (even on weekends!), courteous and affordable. If you’re lucky enough to get Sam, you will experience his friendliness, enthusiasm for his job, and QUALITY work. Although everyone they’ve sent has been awesome, this gentleman went above and beyond and should be recognized. Donovan’s has a true gem with this employee.Best of luck with your AC! Called to get AC cleaned in a recently purchased home. They scheduled an estimate the same day and then the service a week later. Greg who did my estimate also did the work. Their base package covered up to 10 vents, I only had 7 so I coulda walked away for that price. I wanted to change out my vent covers and Greg walked me though what I would need to get if I wanted to buy myself but buying through them was only about $5 more each so instead of risking getting the wrong thing I had them do it. Overall Greg was on time and friendly and explained things very well considering I’ve never had ac before and didn’t understand anything about how to care for the system. A very good experience with this company!

They were the only company to respond to our emergency call for HVAC repair. The woman on the phone was very sweet, and offered some helpful advice and things we could try while waiting for the service. After a very dissatisfying experience with another A/C service company, I was referred by a friend to Donovan's. They fixed my A/C after a very thorough inspection and suspected a leak that was not yet visible. I was impressed with their service and bought their maintenance plan. The tech put some leak detecting dye in the system and said it would show up by the next service. Sure enough, it did. My unit is old enough that I chose not to spend good money fixing it. Donovan's quoted me a very fair price to replace the system with a better quality brand. On both occasions, the tech showed up on time, was extremely professional, and respected COVID protocols. Best service I've gotten in years from any home service company.

We were a first time customer. Called for a non-functioning a/c. Technician was at our door in less than an hour. Amazing! He was very pleasant, polite and professional. Took the time to answer all our questions, and explained what he was doing as he worked. Turned out a button on a barely accessible panel for that activates emergency heat had been pressed, almost certainly by me, and that rendered the a/c cooling function inoperable. I'm guessing ico*kkected his t probably happened because I had stored the extra air filters close to the panel.He felt badly for having to charge us for a service call for such a simple problem and spent 45 minutes checking out the entire system inside and out while patiently answering a neverending stream of questions from myself and my wife.This was his last call of the day, and he could have easily pushed the offending button, collected his money and gone home. But he chose to stay and checkout the whole system and answer all our questions and then join in the heavy evening traffic when he could have been ahead of it.Were we impressed? You bet! Would we use Donovans again? Absolutely! And, if you're smart, you should too.

My mother had a defective outlet in her kitchen and we decided to install GFCI at the same time on another outlet. Jesse performed the service and my mother was very pleased with his professionalism and service. I normally perform maintenance tasks at her home but I draw the line at electrical and its great to have high quality service at an affordable price. I will continue to recommend Donovan!

Christian was kind and informative regarding the work he did. I felt engaged in the maintenance process from start to finish. After seeing the mold inside my system, I asked about a UV light. He told me it was a good idea and why but didn't attempt to convince me I needed to have one installed. Having my first HVAC maintenance done was an overall satisfying experience.

The entire company was wonderful from the customer service rep who scheduled and directed my calls to the service manager’s who answered my 100 questions, and of course the guys (Harley, James and Tyler) that came out for the install. We had a very positive experience recently with Donovan Heat & Air. They replaced our wounded and dying HVAC system and delivered and installed it well before the promised date. The lead installation guy, Brian, was outstanding! He took the time to answer all our questions and allay any trepidation we had. Also, I had several informative interactions with the two sales reps Aaron and Rich and a friendly person in the office answered the telephone every time I called. That counts.

These guys are absolute pros from start to finish. Our technician Stephen was is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the system from airflow in duct work to the mechanics in the units. Instead of coming out and selling me a unit, he diagnosed my true issue and engineered a system that would best fit our needs. On the day of the install our install manager Tommy was hands on the entire process, even fixing issues we didn't know where there. These guys truly care about the quality of product they are putting out and it shows. I did my research and got multiple quotes prior to having them install a new AC unit. Their pricing is very reasonable but what ultimately led to me choosing them over other companies I was the fact that they did NOT try to just take my money. When I first called them out the technician said my AC was in good shape and it was 16 years old. He could have just pushed to replace and didn’t. Then, I opted to ultimately replace and the technicians I dealt with (JB and Nicholas) were professional, kind and made sure I was happy and totally understood all the changes prior to leaving for the day. How do you beat this? Last night my AC went out at 1am, I went to their website in the middle of the night and setup a service call and had a technician at the house at 0900. Stephen and I talked for less than 2 minutes and he was able to diagnose, and install the broken part.This is the second time Donovan had more than exceeded my expectations. I also had a lightning strike arc the blower unit about 8 months ago and they were there the next day fixing all of the fried wiring on a Saturday morning. Both times I had no AC for less than 10 hours. I have 2 kids under 3 so they truly are life savers.Keep up the Great work, you have a forever client in my family.

My AC unit quit on me Friday before I got home from work, I called Donavon’s and they came out that night. Unfortunately I needed a new unit, and they provided me with two window units till they could replace mine. They arrived on time with constant updates on who was coming they did a fabulous job installing. I had a prior appointment and a friend came over while I went, Dillon stayed till I got back as they had just finished up. He went over everything with me. I would highly recommend Donavon’s to anyone.

Alex Lara was right on time, and immediately starting working on my issue with the system. After checking the inside air handler, he went to the outside unit to trouble shoot. It was identified that my thermostat was not working properly, defaulting to heat whenever the unit was running. Alex also identified that I had a wire from the outside unit that was not in good condition, and ultimately would need to be replaced. He consulted with me on two different thermostats meeting the criteria that I had given him, (being able to be WIFI connected, and adjustable using a phone app. I went with the Honeywell 8000 programable thermostat. He installed it in record time, coached me on registering the unit with Honeywell Home, and then demonstrated how to use the wall unit as well as my phone app. I was extremely pleased, and we will be scheduling the replacement of the frayed wire in the not so distant future. Awesome job! As always!!!

He was knowledgable, knew the existing equipment, knew the equipment he was selling, and provided me a quote on a new system. Aaron inspired confidence, didn't try to oversell me, and I arranged to have our new system installed.Brian Fluharty came out on time the next week to install. He was polite, courteous, and skilled. He came out at 8am and was done by 1pm. He left our place clean; vacuumed and took all the trash away.The new unit is great! The old one sounded like a freight train. It was over 20 years old. This one allows us to talk instead of raising our voices or volume on the TV. It is also quite a bit more efficient.I am a retired building automation controls tech. Having had to deal with customers I had a template of what I expect when someone comes to do work for me. They have met my high expectations and would highly recommend them.

Our technician, Ryan Bonigut is a Donovan Certified Associate and always works on our HVAC system ( we specifically request him as he is that good) He has performed all of the above services at one time or another on our Lenox heat pump and Airconditioning unit and has kept it running just like new ( the original HVAC system in our 6 yr old home) We couldn’t recommend Ryan and Donovan Heat & Air more highly. Truly a professional, honest, reliable establishment who does quality work. Kevin was so kind to help me beyond any HVAC maintenance. I am partially disabled, 74 years old and live alone. So he helped me carry items to my garage, bring in a postal delivery box, and took some recycling to my bin. He was patient and polite. The ONLY criticism I have is that after he left, I found clumps of insulation on my floor. Maybe Donovan should equip the trucks w/ brooms!

Donovan's now offers plumbing services, I had them service my Rinnai tankless water heater. Their plumbing services are not on par with their HVAC business yet, hopefully they will improve that service line.

I didn’t have anything wrong with my HVAC system But I have owned the house for three years and felt I should have it serviced. Jamison was my technician.I asked him to open the unit for cleaning. I was astounded at the amount of mold and dust inside. Jamison thoroughly clean the unit and made some adjustments to the system. I was very happy with the results.

When my 17 year old heat pump began to fail, I called Donovan Heat and Air. A technician, Greg, was sent to my home and quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. The gentleman providing annual inspection was thorough and knowledgeable in diagnosing a major issue that required replacing our 13 year old heat/AC system. During our semi-annual maintenance inspection, Greg discovered our evaporation coil was leaking. He recommended a new system. We received a very reasonable quote within 30 minutes and scheduled the install. James and Albert were very professional and friendly during the install and did a fantastic job. Aaron Thacker is the gentleman That assisted me from Donovan, Of all the estimates I received for install of a whole home dehumidifier, he was the only one knowledgeable about the process, actually got in the attic to see how things would fit and considered the install as well as cost vs benefit. Other major companies didn’t even look at the install and came up with ridiculous quotes for install as well as equipment. Almost as if they didn’t really want the job. He was also extremely helpful in brainstorming other solutions for the work as well. Will definitely do Buisness with him again.

I needed a light fixture wired correctly in my dining room. The technician arrived on site within a half hour of my call, fixed the wiring, and was in and out very quickly. I was very pleased with my experience.

Was not crazy about the person who they sent but I am pretty sure the job was done. Don’t like upselling and I am not at all convinced the additional products are needed and they seem excessively priced.

These guys are the real deal. After getting different quotes from other companies my lovely wife and I decided to go with Donovan Heating and Air. We were nervous at first due to the scope of the work that we needed. They reassured us and made the idea of purchasing a new unit with them as painless as they possibly could. The technician, Steve, called to let me know of his arrival time, he showed up on time, was very professional and polite, and got right to work after speaking to me about the issue with my AC. He assured me he could have it fixed that night, and he did. He showed me how I could sign up for their maintenance plan for only $32 more than what I'd be paying for the service call, labor and part needed, and after the positive experience, it was a no brainier for me to want to do future business with Donovan again. Steve, is an incredible asset to your team. He had my house cooling down from its 92 degrees within the hour.

One day last week I returned home from work to find out the air conditioning in my townhouse was not working at all. I contacted my landlady, who told me to call a local company, which I did. This was Monday and the temperature outside was in the 90's. That company told me they could come out no sooner than Wednesday, which was totally unacceptable. My landlord has been using Donovan since before I became a tenant 9 years ago. Since that time, they have installed a complete AC system (about 4 years ago) and come for maintenance every 6 months. Chose Donovan because they are a Carrier dealer. Great installation team. Installed two units (upstairs and downstairs) in a single day. Professional and quick. Had some initial issues (wiring problem) that required a couple of service calls but they were immediately responsive and fixed the problem without trouble. I would certainly recommend and use them again if necessary.

Technicians arrived on time within the window to inspect and check our electrical power pole on the dock. Very professional and friendly. Very thorough in checking out the power pole. Cost seemed a little high but was able to use a $50 off coupon.

Sam and trainee thoroughly checked my HVAC system to discover why it couldn’t seem to keep up and was constantly running. When they weren’t sure, they consulted with management. Had a part brought from Jax Beach. Replacing the *piston seems to have helped with cooling for now. Will continue to monitor. I appreciate the due diligence and trouble shooting. They spent a lot of time trying to resolve my issue.

I Inspected the work and the air handler at 11:30 salt Creek here in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida after the technicians left. Was very surprised how dirty and how much trash that was left in the attic.After that I went into my own attic at 1140 salt Creek where Donovan did work on our vent trunks about ten days ago and found the old trunk still laying in the attic.Not happy with stuff customers normally don’t see being below what I understood to be Donovan standards.

I have highly recommended Donovan A/C to my friends and family. David C.is an excellent A/C technician. He has serviced, cleaned and repaired my systems over the years and kept them in excellent condition, to keep my home comfortable and energy efficient. He is always careful to wear booties on his feet and keep his work neat and tidy in my home. They always give me a call ahead of time so I can meet up with them for scheduled service, and that helps me so I don't have to wait all day for a technician.

After returning home from work one evening I noticed that the house was a little warm. I went outside and checked my unit and discovered that although the unit was on, the fan blades were not spinning. I figured that this was an issue that would not be resolved that night given that it was already 7:30PM. However, I called Donovan that night to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and take a look at it. Kyle answered the phone almost immediately and I told him of the problem that I was facing. Kyle then told me he would be out there in 30 minutes. I was shocked. I don't know of any company that would go out of their way at such a late time in the day to take care of a customer. Kyle rang the door bell 30 minutes later and had the problem fixed within another 30 minutes. It was closer to 9:00PM when Kyle finished as he made sure the unit was cooling properly before he left. I commend Kyle for his efforts and will never use another A/C company but Donovan from here on out, and I suggest that you do the same. You will not find better people to work with at the level of service they provide. Consider me a strong reference for them.

Very efficient, on time and had supplies to quickly replace a failing part. I was impressed they were able to pull up my history and realized I had a 10 years warranty on parts and labor. The unit is not yet 10 and already paid for the coverage. Would highly recommend the extended warranty.

I was having an issue with my dryer exhaust fan. I had two other companies unsuccessfully troubleshoot the problem when I heard that Donovan Heating & Air had successfully repaired the exhaust fan in another residents condo. I scheduled an appointment with Donovan and had the problem correctly diagnosed and repaired. Their service was timely, efficient and very professional.I’m a very happy customer, will use their services in the future, and highly recommend them to anyone needing heating or air service or dryer exhaust fan issues.

I have inherit a service contract with Donovan Heat and Air from previous owner, which they come out twice a year and check all units and service them as needed for about $480 (which i recommend specially when more than one unit). They showed up on time, were cordial, very professional and diligent. I would recommend their service and definitely use them again.

We have had Donovan service our air conditioners for years and have always recieved exceptional service. Because of our biannual check ups, we have not experienced any problems with either unit.Donovan also installed all new duct work for us. It was a huge job, as it's all under our above ground house. But they came out in the hottest part of the summer and had it completed in one day!

Technician was friendly and very thorough. He quickly identified a problem with my system and spent the time it took to go through the system thoroughly to check it out and fix the problem (that ended up taking about 2 hours so he seemed quite thorough). Technician was on time, very knowledgeable; explaining every test including his findings, and was very polite and courteous. Stewart also informed me of maintenance program and how it's very beneficial, but was not pushy. I would use Donovan again and recommend them to friends and family.

I was having difficulty getting service after Hurricane Matthew from the company we had been with for over 30 years. My son suggested we give Donovan H&A a call and I'm glad we did. Our fix was relatively easy but as a result of the excellent service we had them replace the HVAC at our rental property that had suffered damage from the hurricane. I LOVE Donovan Heat and Air for their stellar customer service and professionalism. Our a/c stopped running last night. We live in Sawgrass and the Players Championship is in full swing with bumper to bumper traffic. We called Donovan and explained our son just had surgery and is recuperating at home. Donovan worked us in early this afternoon and had our unit repaired in less than an hour, with nothing but concern for our son. It's hard to find companies like this. We asked our service tech about their service plan, and were able to sign a maintenance contract with them today. A great deal and a great company!

My AC stopped working on day and I called Donovan Heat & Air to come check it out. Ryan came out and looked at the unit and found my evaporator was filthy (Make sure you change your filters! and they fit correctly) Ryan did a great job finding and fixing the problem. He also made a little bracket on my unit so my filter will stay in place. Super happy with their customer service. Hopefully I won't need the but if I do I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!

Donovan is a very responsive and reliable local business. I had a problem that was misdiagnosed by another company who then charged an additional $100 service fee to pronounce the problem solved. Called around 10am this morning as I was having issues with my thermostat. I currently have a maintenance plan with Donovan Heat & Air and they were at the house within 2 hours. Quick response and definitely recommend the maintenance plan for times like these. Rod was a gentlemen and it was good to see a familiar face as he completed the preventative maintenance last month.

Donnie did a great job with my maintenance and even mentioned getting a safety system to never have a leaking issue I’ve had in the past. I would ask for him if you can!

He diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes and had me up and running shortly there after. Donovan came out to give us an estimate after Estes told us we'd need to basically replace our whole A/C unit. Mr. Donovan recommended that we not replace our A/C unit, and told us exactly what the issue was and how to fix it, at a much lower cost.He was extremely knowledgeable and we will be using Donovan in the future for all our A/C needs.

Purchased new Trane AC, have been long time customer and have usually received good service. Unit was installed, but variable speed fan was left with setting of wide open only, which was obviously wrong. I was out of town, and the installers left knowing this was incorrect. Two weeks later when I returned I called to have situation corrected, and got a lecture on how busy Monday mornings were, but they would get out the next day, Matt the service technician was great, he fixed the problem and also programed the thermostat, which the installers also ignored. All this after I spent almost $7000.00 to be assured that they do this all the time and there would be no problems. Not a single phone call or message from owners or management. Call me old fashion, but my experience left much to be desired.
